Big Air competition at R-kade Skatepark (BMX ONLY).
Friday 22nd January 2010 6.00pm - 8.00pm.
Age groups are as follows: 12-17 years, 18-24 years,25years+. Trophies and prizes.
£5.00 Entry Fee.
This event is in memory of Declan Campbell who sadly died at the age of 18. Declan had diabetes and had difficulty coming to terms with his condition. His Mum Dawn is raising money to help other young adults and children to be made more aware of this condition and to learn how to live with it. YOUR SUPPORT WOULD HELP TO MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE!!

REDCAR RUMBLE 27/9/09
On Sunday 27th September 2009 a long overdue skate jam/comp is taking place here at R-kade. Jam starts at 12.00pm and finishes at 6.00pm and there is an entry fee of £10.00. This includes spectators. This jam is slightly different from our previous jams as we are donating all the proceeds from the entry fee and the raffle (FANTASTIC PRIZES!!) to the haematology day unit at James Cook University hospital which i am sure you will all agree is a fantastic cause.
PLEASE DON'T MISS OUT ON WHAT IS GOING TO BE A GREAT DAY.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR SKATEBOARDERS ONLY.

Skate school
Want to learn how to skate board or learn new tricks? R-kade now runs skate school (skate boards only) along side Popcorn skate shop. The course last for 6 weeks and takes place here at R-kade with expert tuition provided by Popcorn.
